A hurdle that some of my clients seek help in answering is, "Should I offer free coaching/consulting when I am starting out?"

The reasons they consider doing it include:

  • Uncertainty about the value they provide (so they don't ask for compensation at all)
  • Fear of asking for payment
  • Believing it will lead to opportunities "down the road" with those prospects.
  • Etc.
